Double Decker Buses Outside My Window

When the double decker buses drive by on Fell, the folks on the top deck are level with my window. They're always looking at the panhandle or straight ahead, and they usually go by too fast to notice what is happening in the windows of the houses they pass.

Is it weird that I find this a little disappointing? I think it would be nice to exchange waves at the very least...
