Picking Paint is Harder Than I'd Like it to Be

Julianna came over for dinner last night and we tackled a wall in my living room/bedroom with the Swan Sea Behr paint I'd chosen. I'd already painted the half-wall that separates the sleeping area with the living area, and I loved it. Swan Sea is one shade lighter so I was optimistic that I'd love it too.

The jury's still out. How bright is too bright? I actually love the color, but will a whole room of it be too much? And how much difference will hanging stuff on the walls make? Should I swap and use one shade lighter? If I go ahead and do it, with the notion that I can always change it later, is that a bad idea? What if I never get around to it and then I'm never quite satisfied? This is too much. Really.

And I'd post a pic but it won't look the same as it does in person and, to tell the truth, I don't want a bunch of opinions. I'm the one who has to like it so what everyone else thinks doesn't really matter. That being said, if you're in the neighborhood and want to stop by and tell me what you think please do!
