Move-In Pictures, Finally

Don't I look so pretty in all of these move-in pictures? Here's some "action shots" to hold you over until I post some of my finished house. The one of Myles and me in bed is our first night in the new place (my mom spent the night and insisted on taking a pic - that's why I look so terribly thrilled), and the one of him resting on his stool in the sun is just cute so I threw it in.

The place looks completely different now. I'm all settled in and everything is in order. The new front door is up and running, the entry light is fixed (recessed rather than a ridiculous fixtureless lightbulb), the blinds are ordered and in transit and the first coat of paint is on. I went for one shade lighter btw - the darker color was pretty but too overwhelming. By next week I'll have pics of the final product. Woo hoo!

I'm still waiting on the dining table. Of course the one I want from Ikea is temporarily out of stock. It'll be nice to have it to eat on, but I'm also eager to get it in place so I can use it as a work place when I work from home. Sitting on the couch with my laptop just isn't as ergonomic as I'd like. Almost there!
